Thank you!  This year's festival was a huge success with over 2,500 people in attendance.  The 2009 Congaree Bluegrass Festival will be held on Saturday, October 3.  Visit often for updates.

Join the City of Cayce for a family-oriented foot stomping, knee slapping good ole time at the Congaree Bluegrass Festival this October 4th!

The festival will feature 5 top notch bluegrass bands:

...and individual guitar and banjo contests! There will be a children's play area that includes Panning for Gold and a Haystack Search. Food vendors will be on hand to serve up popular festival food--and there'll be some surprises, too!

Bring your lawn chairs--but no coolers please. This is an alcohol and tobacco free event!

Children’s Area
11:00 am – 7:00 pm

 Panning for Gold – Come pan for jewels, river rocks, coins and maybe even GOLD!!! Children will be able to keep their “find!”

 Bounce House – take your shoes--but not to sit a spell. Jump up and down to your heart’s content!

 Haystack Search – each participant will be given an opportunity to find special prizes hidden in the haystack!

 May not be time for the Fair, but we’ve got the fixin’s just the same! Hot dogs, french fries, corn dogs, snow cones, homemade fudge, boiled peanuts and more!

The Congaree Bluegrass Festival is a family-friendly event. Bring your lawn chairs, but no coolers please!
