Join Dr. Rudy Mancke for a
Guided Nature Tour
of the
Cayce Riverwalk Park
Saturday, April 26, 2008
Dr. Mancke will conduct a slow and leisurely guided tour along the Riverwalk Park trail. Participants will explore plants, animals and geology of the area.
The tour is free of charge, however, space is limited. Tours will be held at 10:00 a.m. (children's tour) and 1:00 p.m.
Advance Registration is required. To register, call Cayce City Hall at 803-796-9020.
Tour participants will meet at the Cayce Riverwalk Comfort Station located at the N Avenue entrance to the Park.

4TH ANNUAL CAYCE PLANT EXCHANGE
The Cayce Plant Exchange, sponsored by the Beautification Board, will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at City Hall (1800 12th St. Extension) at 10:00 a.m. Come early to place plants. Whistle will blow to begin. Each person then chooses one plant. This will continue until all plants are exchanged. You do not have to bring a plant to participate. If you have extra plants, bulbs, or seeds please bring. There will also be a Master Gardner available to answer any questions. Rain or Shine, we will see you there! Cayce's Tree Lighting Ceremony - sponsored by The Woman’s Club of Cayce Proceeds from the sale of lights are used to fund the Woman’s Club scholarship program which is given to a Cayce student each year. They are also sponsoring the “Cayce Cares” food drive and ask that you bring canned goods and non-perishables to decorate the Food Tree. The event will include a community reception and is free to the public. |

The Lights of Cayce - Beginning November 29 through the end of the year, visitors to Cayce City Hall can enjoy the magic of thousands of twinkling lights and dazzling holiday displays. Each year’s display unveils a number of new sculptures and stunning displays. The lights will remain on until the end of December. |

Cayce Neighborhood Tree Lighting - Cayce's neighborhoods have banned together to provide a little Christmas spirit on their own. Each participating neighborhood will line their streets with lighted trees and decorations giving you a ride through a fantasy "winter wonderland".
