The City of Cayce enjoys excellent access to high-quality hospitals in neighboring Columbia and West Columbia.

Columbia has two hospitals in the Palmetto Health system, South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive health resource. Palmetto Health Richland is a regional community teaching hospital that treats patients from every county in the state. West Columbia hosts the main campus of Lexington Medical Center, a medical complex that anchors a comprehensive county-wide healthcare network.

Services include cancer and cardiovascular care, women's services, obesity surgery, an emergency department, and laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation, surgery, and urgent care units.

Palmetto Health Richland
Services include cardiology, obstetrics (including high-risk pregnancy and genetic counseling), oncology (including the SC Comprehensive Breast Center), orthopaedics, neonatology, pediatrics, surgery, and trauma.

Palmetto Health Baptist
Services include behavioral care, obstetrics, oncology (including the SC Comprehensive Breast Center), orthopaedics, surgery, and women's services.
